Chapter 77: I’m Still the B-Class Instructor

After lunch, Shi Ji went to the classroom according to the schedule. However, upon arriving at the B-Class room, he found it completely empty.

Puzzled, Shi Ji instinctively checked the classroom sign to confirm it was indeed the B-Class. Once he was sure, he began to think of other reasons for the absence.

In the Hero Academy, besides theoretical knowledge, the emphasis was on physical training and combat skills. Practical classes occupied the majority of the weekly schedule.

Shi Ji had spent most of his time at the Star Hero Academy sleeping through every class, whether theoretical or practical. Back then, he hadn’t paid much attention to this detail.

Afterward, Shi Ji checked the schedule using his wristband and found that the afternoon session was indeed a practical combat class.

Already a minute late, Shi Ji figured it didn’t matter if he went quickly or slowly. He decided to take his time.

The practical combat classrooms were housed in separate buildings. Each room was spacious, equipped with high-end training equipment, and several levels above the usual standards. A large arena was also provided for sparring.

Overall, the first impression of these classrooms was that they resembled gyms or combat training centers rather than traditional classrooms.

By the time he found the right place, more than ten minutes had passed.

Listening to the sounds of fighting and training coming from inside, Shi Ji checked the room number one last time to confirm, then prepared to enter.

He barely remembered the faces of his classmates, except for Xing Yuxiu. So when he walked in, everything still felt unfamiliar.

“Stop.”

A voice called out, coming from someone leaning against the wall near the door.

Shi Ji turned to look and saw it was a short brat. Without responding, he turned to walk away.

It really was the wrong place after all. The short person that Shi Ji saw was none other than Jing Xin.

Seeing Shi Ji’s attitude, Jing Xin quickly called out to him.

“Shi Ji, you scoundrel! You’re late and still acting all high and mighty.”

Hearing this, Shi Ji was taken aback.

At that moment, a male voice called out from behind him.

“Hey, Shi Ji, where are you going?”

Shi Ji turned around again and saw that it was none other than Xing Yuxiu.

“Hmph! You little rascal, you thought you could escape from me? No way. You didn’t expect this, did you? Although I primarily lead Class A, I am also an instructor for Class B. Hah! Did you really think I’d let you off that easily?”

When Shi Ji saw Jing Xin, he thought he had mistakenly gone to Class A. Hearing Jing Xin’s words now, he finally realized the truth. He had initially felt grateful that Jing Xin had helped him with the class transfer, but it turned out to be a trap. 

This little trickster was quite cunning.

Looking at the short girl in front of him, he raised his head and refused to meet her eyes.

Being ignored by Shi Ji made Jing Xin feel rather upset. She had a high status at Yinshuang Academy, yet in front of this guy, it seemed she didn’t matter at all.

“Let me tell you, in Class B, you better behave yourself. If I catch you breaking the rules, I’ll deduct your credits.”

At this point, Shi Ji finally looked down at Jing Xin.

“As long as you don’t randomly deduct my credits.”

Confidently, Jing Xin snorted.

“Hmph! That depends on your performance.” 

With that, she turned and left, but not before giving Shi Ji his punishment for being late. 

“Fifteen minutes late, fifteen reps with a 500-kilogram barbell.”

Shi Ji didn’t expect Jing Xin to be so lenient.

He smiled slightly at the departing Jing Xin and called out, “Thanks for the uniform!”

She paused for a moment but didn’t respond.
