- OAuth 2.0 logins: If you choose Discord, Twitch, Google, Patreon, etc., I receive your username, email, profile picture URL, and a unique provider ID.
Subscription & Billing
- I collect payment details (e.g. subscriber ID, billing frequency) via PayPal, Stripe, or Patreon—but never store your full credit-card number on my servers.
User Content & Interaction
- Comments you post, contact-form submissions, and any files or text you upload.
- Metadata tied to comments or submissions (IP address, user-agent) to combat spam.
Automatically Collected Data
- Usage data: Pages you visit, time spent, and feature interactions.
- Device & browser data: IP address, browser type/version, operating system, and broad geolocation (city/region level based on IP).

2. How I Use Your Information

Provide & maintain the Site: – Authenticate accounts, process subscriptions, deliver content.
Personalize your experience: – Remember your preferences and recommend novels/chapters.
Communicate with you: – Respond to support requests, send administrative messages (e.g., billing issues, policy updates).
Protect the Site & community: – Detect and prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and security threats.
Analytics & improvements: – Measure performance, diagnose errors, and refine features.
Advertising: – Serve Google Ads (and potentially other ad networks) and comply with their policies.

3. Cookies & Web Storage

Web Storage is used for non-essential settings (e.g., bookmarks, reading progress). Nothing stored there is sent back to my servers.

Gravatar: If you provide an email with your comment, a hashed version may be sent to Gravatar to fetch your avatar. See Gravatar’s Privacy Policy for details.
OAuth Providers: Authentication details come from Discord, Twitch, Google, etc.; only the agreed fields (email, username, avatar) are stored.
Embedded Content & Links: Videos, posts, or links to other sites behave as if you visited them directly. I’m not responsible for their data practices—please review their policies separately.

5. Retention of Your Data

Comments & metadata: Kept indefinitely so I can manage follow-ups, enforce community standards, and address disputes.
Free/Subscriber accounts: Stored until you delete your account. Deleting your account removes all personal data except comments you’ve posted; those remain attributed to your username.
Support inquiries & logs: Archived for up to 12 months for quality assurance and fraud prevention, then purged.

6. Security

I take reasonable measures to secure your data (encryption in transit, regular backups, access controls). However, no system is perfectly secure—please protect your login credentials and notify me immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

Access a copy of your personal data.
Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erase your personal data (subject to retention above).
Restrict or object to certain processing (e.g. analytics, marketing).
