Hart also greeted him with a smile.

“Brother Wang Yun, did you sleep well last night?”

Wang Yun smiled back at him. “The bed here is really comfortable.”

Hart laughed heartily.

Then Hart pointed toward Betzi as he introduced her to Wang Yun.

“Brother Wang Yun, this is Miss Betzi. She’s the donor whose bone marrow matched Nicole’s.”

Wang Yun looked somewhat surprised.

From what Yura had said before, he had assumed the donor would be a man. He hadn’t expected the donor to be such a young woman.

Hart then pointed at Wang Yun and introduced him to Betzi.

“This is Brother Wang Yun, the doctor who will perform Nicole’s surgery.” Then he added, “Don’t let his youth fool you. His medical skills are no worse than those of those older doctors.”

Betzi stared at Wang Yun in shock.

He looked like he was only in his early twenties. And he could already perform a bone marrow transplant?

Hart wasn’t joking, was he?

Seeing the astonishment written all over Betzi’s face, Wang Yun simply smiled, unconcerned.

“Hello, Betzi. I’m Wang Yun.”

With Nicole taking the lead, everyone finally started eating.

The moment she bit into it, the rich broth burst inside her mouth.

Her face instantly filled with amazement.

Seeing Betzi’s astonished expression, Big Mouth proudly explained, “This is a specialty from our Dragon Country. You can’t get these here. Pretty good, right?”

“Brother Big Mouth is amazing! These dumplings are so delicious. You have to make them for me again in the future,” Nicole immediately chimed in enthusiastically, grinning at Big Mouth.

Nicole’s words immediately left Big Mouth unsure how to respond.

Hart quickly changed the subject.

“Brother Wang Yun, do you think the surgery can be done today?”

Wang Yun looked up at the little girl who was happily eating dumplings.

“After breakfast, I’ll give Nicole a physical examination. If everything looks fine, we can perform the surgery today.”

When Nicole heard that the surgery might be today, a trace of fear appeared on her little face.
