Chapter 886: I’m Already Looking Forward to the Match!
by tinytreeIf Achir weren’t exceptional, how could he have won six matches in a row?
“I’m starting to look forward to tonight’s match.” Achir looked at Wang Yun with a smile.
“So am I.” Wang Yun returned the smile.
Achir suddenly burst out laughing, “Hahaha, you really are an interesting person. My name is Achir. What’s yours?”
Hearing Achir laugh, everyone else looked utterly baffled.
Only Wang Yun laughed along with him.
“Hello, Achir. My name is Wang Yun.”
“Good, Wang Yun. Then I’ll see you tonight.”
“See you tonight.”
With that, Achir ignored the still-stunned Walter, turned, and went straight back to his room.
Only after seeing Achir return to his room did Walter finally come back to his senses. He threw out one vicious line before following after him.
“Tonight, you’ll all be begging me!”
“What do you mean, Achir?”
“Achir, you’ve gone too far!”
“Achir! I’m talking to you!”
…
Walter’s voice could still be heard faintly in the distance, shouting in humiliation and anger.
Wang Yun shook his head, turned around, and walked back into the room.
Baren and Colin followed him inside.
The bodyguards remained outside the door.
People here seemed to be especially fond of suites.
The moment they stepped inside, everything in sight was simple wooden furniture. But it was no ordinary wood. Every piece was made from red sandalwood.
As soon as you entered, you could smell the faint fragrance of the timber, soothing and calming.
Just inside was a large sitting room furnished with a solid wood tea table and wooden sofas. There were also all kinds of modern household appliances, fully equipped and neatly arranged. Behind the sofa stood a folding screen that divided the space, and beyond it were two bedrooms.
Baren looked at Colin and Wang Yun.
“The two of you probably haven’t had enough rest yet. Go get some sleep first. If anything comes up, I’ll call for you.”
Wang Yun nodded and headed for one of the bedrooms.
Colin hesitated for a moment, then went into the other bedroom.
Baren himself sat down on the sofa. A tea tray had been set out on the wooden tea table. He had once gone out of his way to learn this from someone from Dragon Country.
Wang Yun entered his room and casually closed the door behind him. He took a look around at the layout.
The room carried the same style as the outer hall. Rosewood floors, red sandalwood chairs, and a small tea table. Even the bed had been made in imitation of the kind of wooden bed used in ancient Dragon Country.
As Wang Yun looked around, a thought crossed his mind.
The owner of this place must really like Dragon Country culture.
With nothing else to do and still a little sleepy, Wang Yun went over to the bed and closed his eyes to rest.
He was used to modern soft mattresses, so lying on this hard wooden bed felt unfamiliar.
He lay there for quite a while without falling asleep.
His mind was busy working out how to catch all the leaders of Blood Banquet in one sweep.
When he had come in earlier, he had deliberately taken a look around. It seemed that the other rooms outside had already been occupied.
‘Looks like tonight’s banquet would reel in quite a few big fish.’
Before he knew it, the time had reached six in the evening.
At one point during that time, an attendant had come by to deliver food. They had simply eaten a little in their rooms, then gone back to resting.
Baren came to Wang Yun’s door and knocked lightly.
Knock, knock, knock.
“Brother Wang Yun, are you awake? We should be heading to the main hall.”
Hearing Baren’s voice, Wang Yun, who had been sitting in a chair deep in thought, answered.
“All right, Mr. Baren.”
Then he got up and came out.
Colin, in the bedroom next door, heard the voice as well and stepped out too.
At that moment, Wang Yun lowered his head and glanced at the ring on his hand, quietly sending out a signal.

Outside, Samson received the signal and immediately spoke into his communicator.
“All teams, attention! The informant is about to enter the match venue. The banquet is about to begin. You may move closer to the signal source as appropriate. Stay concealed!”
““““““““Copy that!”””””””
As soon as he finished speaking, eight crisp voices answered in perfect unison.
Captain One was none other than Rodney, the squad leader and trusted subordinate Wang Yun had already met under Samson.
At that very moment, Rodney was flexing his hands in excitement as he led his team slowly toward the signal source.

Meanwhile, Wang Yun, Baren, and Colin had just stepped out of their room when they ran into Walter and Achir, who had also just come out.
Truly, enemies were bound to cross paths on a narrow road.
No one knew what Achir had said to Walter, but this time, Walter didn’t come over to provoke them. He only shot them a vicious glare, then turned and strode off toward the main hall without looking back.
Achir, on the other hand, turned around and gave Wang Yun a friendly smile.
Wang Yun smiled back just as warmly.
Achir’s smile left Baren and Colin completely at a loss. They simply could not understand why Achir would be so friendly toward his own opponent.
It made no sense.
The two of them immediately turned in unison to look at Wang Yun.
Wang Yun gave them an awkward, helpless smile.
“Don’t look at me. I don’t know anything either.”
Seeing that Wang Yun couldn’t explain it, the two could only suppress their doubts and follow him toward the main hall.
When they arrived at the entrance again, the Blood Banquet emblem was still just as unsettling to look at.
