Chapter 122: Night Ghost Devours People

The armed helicopter didn’t land in the capital, but in a remote city, M City. On a cordoned-off street, Xiao Yu, in his police uniform, stepped off the helicopter and walked towards Wang Dong, who was standing beside a police car.

The apartment where the person had died was the same one he saw the monster fly out of the previous night. Terrified, the resident called the police.

Based on the resident’s description, the creature that flew out looked like an enormous bat—much larger than an adult human. But since it was night, he couldn’t see clearly what it was, only that it flapped its wings and quickly disappeared into the sky.

What’s the largest flying bird in the world? The Andean condor, with a wingspan of over three meters. But even so, it’s not bigger than an adult human. 

A bird larger than a person? That’s hard to believe, right?

If you don’t believe it, consider this: three days ago, in the same city, another single female resident was killed in the same manner. The most bizarre part? Once again, a similar creature was seen flying into the victim’s home, committing the murder, and then flying away.
