Chapter 146: Are You Sick?

In a mountainous area of a certain county, there was an abandoned porcelain clay factory. Originally, the clay was meant to supply a ceramic factory in the county that specialized in making ceramic kitchenware. “What are you doing here?” one of the men shouted when he saw Xiao Yu walk into the courtyard.

“I heard that you sell fragrant meat here?” Xiao Yu explained with a smile, “I want to buy some.” 

‘Fragrant meat’ referred to dog meat in the local dialect.

“We don’t sell small quantities here, only wholesale,” the man said as he approached Xiao Yu, giving him a once-over. “You’d better leave.”

“Can’t you sell me a bit?” Xiao Yu put away his smile and calmly looked at the man.

In an instant, Xiao Yu smelled many scents. There was the scent of local dogs, but also the scent of people. There were surprisingly many people.

Scents don’t lie. 

A breeding farm in the mountains would have the scent of young women and children. This confirmed it, this must be the place.

The place where the people were hidden was found.

The breeding farm was formerly a porcelain clay factory. Where did the clay come from? A mine in a large mountain. When the factory shut down, the mine was also sealed off. 

When the sealed wooden door was opened, Xiao Yu walked into the mine and saw four children and two young girls. Like dogs, their necks were chained to the wall. Seeing the police, they could only shrink back in terror, not even daring to scream.

Xiao Yu’s heart twisted painfully as he walked out of the mine.

The arrest began.

The front door opened, and a heavily made-up woman looked at Xiao Yu. She was momentarily stunned, and then her eyes lit up.

Xiao Yu felt as if he was being stared at by a mother wolf.

The woman appeared to be around thirty-three or thirty-four years old, an age where she was in her prime

“Please come in,” the woman said warmly.

“Thank you.” Xiao Yu nodded, changed into slippers, and walked into the living room.

He saw a middle-aged man sitting on the sofa, playing with his phone. Xiao Yu squinted his eyes and smiled.

‘Wang Hongbin? No, I should call you Dong Qi.’

“Why does property management have so much nonsense every day?” Dong Qi put down his phone, his face cold and irritable. His eyes flashed with a cold glint as he looked at Xiao Yu.

With just one look, he was stunned.
