    “Think you can run?”

Xiao Yu’s eyes locked onto the figure leaping off the building clutching the glider. He dashed forward. Right at the rooftop’s edge, Xiao Yu bent his legs and sprang high into the air.

    System skill: Flea’s Leap.

Many people don’t realize just how strong, how terrifying, how unbelievable a flea’s jumping power is. For a straightforward analogy, a flea’s leap is like a 1.8-meter-tall human jumping over 200 meters high or 200 meters far. Among known creatures, fleas possess the greatest jumping power…

Xiao Yu’s legs landed on the triangular hang glider, piercing straight through and stopping on the crossbar beneath.

The man below him froze, his expression aghast.

How could he dare—this was the 12th floor!

No, that wasn’t the only problem.

It was also the distance—how did he jump all the way from the rooftop to here?

Those questions flashed briefly through the man’s mind before being replaced by a single thought, ‘It’s over. I’m done for!’

First off, a glider typically couldn’t support two people. Second, they were on the 12th floor—did he realize what would happen if they fell?

Despair washed over the man as he watched the glider slide downward at high speed.

    Meanwhile, Xiao Yu turned pale.

‘Why did I do something so impulsive?’

Unfortunately, there was no time to second-guess. The glider, with both of them on it, began an angled descent—not a straight freefall. Mid-flight, it came down onto the rooftop of a residential building.

Two people plus the glider crashed into the tiled roof area.

They were lucky the building had only eight floors. Dropping from the 12th to the 8th, plus the glider’s cushioning, plus the rooftop’s tile structure, gave both Xiao Yu and the man some buffer. Miraculously, they escaped with only minor injuries.

Swearing to himself that if he risked his life again he’d be no better than a dog, Xiao Yu lay in the swirl of dust, looking thoroughly shaken by his brush with death.

Suddenly, a figure burst up from the broken tiles and bolted away.

    ‘Still trying to run?’

Xiao Yu leaped to his feet at once. A tiled rooftop meant there was no flat terrace. The glider was wrecked—how did the guy intend to escape?

Yet to Xiao Yu’s shock, the man jumped off the building again. Not a headlong dive, of course.

The man landed on the 8th-floor balcony. Xiao Yu didn’t hesitate; he jumped right after him. With the Civet’s Agility skill, as long as there was something to grab onto, Xiao Yu could climb and leap with ease.

The man moved just as deftly—he bounded from the 8th-floor balcony over to the 7th floor next door.

‘Pretty flashy, like parkour, huh.’ Xiao Yu sprang after him.

What he didn’t expect was that the moment he took off, the man whirled and raised his arm.

Xiao Yu’s pupils contracted. It was a gun.

‘Shit!’ He snapped his hand upward.

He slapped his palm against the wall beside him. Not to bounce off, but sticking to it like a suction cup.

    System skill: Squid’s Touch.

With a sharp yank of his arm, Xiao Yu clung to the wall like a gecko.

    Bang!

    A bullet flew past him.

That scene left the shooter dumbfounded. Even more so when Xiao Yu, latched onto the wall, flexed all four limbs—somehow launching himself forward from the building’s exterior.

The man whirled and jumped—crashing into the neighboring 6th-floor balcony glass.

He rolled, breaking through more glass, then continued dropping down. This time, he grabbed the edge of the balcony, went straight down to the 5th floor, then jumped again to the 4th-floor balcony, then the 3rd…

Xiao Yu saw everything. Even he couldn’t help thinking, ‘Incredible!’

The man’s movements looked like acrobatics, or a monkey bounding from spot to spot along the building. Even more amazing, he remained unharmed—his reflexes, agility, stamina, and sheer extremity were far beyond any average person’s ability.

Not only that, he dropped straight from the 3rd floor to the ground, did a quick roll, and immediately took off running, unscathed.

Xiao Yu’s feet landed lightly on the ground. He watched that frantic figure fleeing, eyes unreadable.

Finally, he understood the meaning of his system mission: Extreme Agent.

‘What good is that…?’ Xiao Yu grinned, bending his legs.

With a sudden push—his body shot forward like a cheetah. In that instant, his posture mirrored an actual leopard. When he landed, he spanned five or six meters, all four limbs touching the ground.

Then his thighs propelled him forward again, body lunging.

    System skill: Leopard’s Speed.

To fully unleash the leopard’s speed, he had to run in a leopard-like stance. At that moment, one couldn’t tell if Xiao Yu was still human or a black panther.

In a mere seven seconds, he sprinted a hundred meters.

A real cheetah covers 0–100 meters in about 6.13 seconds. Xiao Yu now was nearly on par with one. By the ninth second, Xiao Yu appeared behind the man, his palm landing on the man’s nape.

Gripped by the neck, the man’s body lifted off the ground from the momentum.

Then, as Xiao Yu swung his arm—Boom!—he slammed the man into a landscaped area.

The guy was lucky. If it hadn’t been soft soil and grass, that blow might have taken half his life.

    “Baka!”

Regaining his senses, the man roared, his face twisted in rage.

‘Baka…?’ Xiao Yu smiled, eyes glinting with a frosty light.

Seeing the man raise his arm and aim a gun at him, Xiao Yu swiveled his leg horizontally. He shattered the man’s arm with a kick.

Then Xiao Yu stomped his foot on the man’s chest. A sharp snap resounded in the man’s ribcage.

“Ugh…” He opened his mouth in agony, eyes bulging.

“Baka, huh?” Leaning down, Xiao Yu stared coldly into the man’s face. “Who gave you the guts to say those words on this land?”

Suddenly, a flash of a blade slashed at Xiao Yu’s thigh. It was a military knife.

    The strike was absurdly fast.

Caught off-guard by the slash, Xiao Yu merely lifted his foot. He kicked the blade.

Was he sacrificing his foot? Of course not—there was a steel plate in the shoe’s sole, basic common sense.

    The knife stopped dead.

Xiao Yu stomped the man’s arm into the ground in one move.

Throughout this entire sequence, Xiao Yu’s posture remained bent forward, coldly eyeing the terror-stricken man.

    “I’m asking you a question.”
