Chapter 132: I’m Not a Hero

When Shi Ji encountered annoying people, he couldn’t help but say a few words. But if they were extremely annoying, taking action was the best approach.

Facing these two thugs, he didn’t see them as human. Blocking their path, he then pinned them to the ground, landing several punches that left their faces bruised and swollen. Then, grabbing each of them by the hand, he effortlessly lifted them and tossed them directly into the nearby pond, leaving them flailing in the water.

“Ah! Help! Help!”

“You… you bastard, how dare you hit us? You’re in big trouble now!”

Shi Ji squatted by the side, watching them with a cold smirk.

“You seem to have a misunderstanding about heroes. Let me tell you something. I’m not the kind of hero you think I am. And even if I were, I wouldn’t let you insult me like this. Some so-called heroes don’t deserve praise, but they’re still better than scum like you. Seeing as you’re just ordinary people, I’ll let you go today. But if I catch you acting up again, I’ll break your legs.”

Shi Ji didn’t want to waste any more time here. The longer he delayed, the greater the impact the monsters could cause. Under normal circumstances, he wouldn’t have stopped with just a few punches.

After delivering his final warning, Shi Ji prepared to leave and handle the real trouble.

“Stop!”

Just then, a young man’s voice called out from behind him. The voice wasn’t very firm. It was a young age.

Hearing the voice, Shi Ji indeed stopped.

Seeing someone approaching, the two men in the water were overjoyed.

Yes, standing there in a white outfit, with protective gear on his hands and legs, was the young man Shi Ji had previously clashed with—Chi Yang.

The Hero Academy was the primary source of new blood for the Star Alliance. Although Yinshuang Academy did not encourage students to casually register as heroes, some of the top students were exceptions because their abilities were recognized.

Chi Yang had already registered as a professional hero earlier. Now, he was one of the top-ranked C-level heroes in Yinshuang City. He frequently appeared in public view, so a good number of people knew him.

Chi Yang was out today and, upon hearing about anomalies appearing at the amusement park, came over to help. When he arrived, he heard cries for help and rushed over, only to find Shi Ji there.

After learning the backstory from Shi Ji, Chi Yang couldn’t hold back. Seeing the two thugs climbing out of the pond, he walked over and kicked each of them back into the water.

Shi Ji stood on the side, laughing and cheering.

The trivial matters seemed to be finally over. Given the current situation, Shi Ji had something to say.

“Let’s not worry about them. The aberrations are more important. There are many of them, so we should split up and act separately. We’ll regroup later.”
