Chapter 25: Partner

Shi Ji had little interest in the so-called practical tasks of Silver Frost Academy. The only reason he agreed to come out was because he had no choice. As Jing Xin said, there weren’t many people in the academy, and there was nowhere to eat. Left with no other option, he had to leave.

Dusting off his clothes, Shi Ji ignored Lin Xinyan for a while, still holding a grudge against Jing Xin.

Now, the two who barely knew each other had become rivals in just a day.

Lin Xinyan watched Shi Ji, slowly approaching him. She had many questions for Shi Ji and also wanted to thank him for what happened yesterday.

Standing in front of Shi Ji, Lin Xinyan earnestly said, “I didn’t expect you to be the new student. What a coincidence.”

At first glance, Shi Ji felt she looked familiar. Seeing her clothes and her long legs, he finally remembered.

“Yes, it’s quite a coincidence. You left so quickly yesterday, I didn’t get a chance to thank you. Thank you so much. If it weren’t for you, I might not be standing here talking to you now.”

Shi Ji never really cared about such things. He had encountered similar situations many times before.
