    Chapter Index

With a loud crash, the ground beneath Shi Ji’s feet cracked and collapsed, instantly creating a deep pit. The ground continued to sink, but the collapse halted right where Shi Ji stood. Unlike the rest of the area, which experienced ordinary subsidence, the spot under Shi Ji’s foot had a massive crater. The width of this pit almost spanned the entire road, reaching a depth of about ten meters.

Shi Ji looked down at the hole, sensing slight vibrations that gradually intensified. Something massive was pushing up from below. The concrete under his feet began to shift, causing his body to rise. Within two seconds, the upward force became more pronounced, and Shi Ji was suddenly elevated by four or five meters.

At this moment, the young man lifted his right foot and stomped down again.

    Boom!

The upward movement ceased, and with a resounding crash, the ground collapsed further. This time, the pit deepened by an additional five meters.

Beneath the surface, a colossal monster was revealed. It was Tisila.

Tisila’s power approached that of a near-Devil-level anomaly, far beyond what Feng Ling and the others could handle. After toying with them and quickly ending the battle, Tisila grew bored and left.

The creature hadn’t forgotten its primary goal. To find and kill the one who had slain its offspring.

As it tunneled underground, moving along the road, everything seemed smooth until it encountered massive pressure from above. Tisila was caught off guard, its head pressed down by an immense force, making it difficult to move.

Tisila was puzzled and angered, realizing that someone above was causing this pressure. Whoever could exert such force had to be stronger than those it had encountered earlier.

The creature strained upward, managing to push back briefly before the pressure increased again, even stronger this time. Unable to bear it, Tisila was forced back down, feeling dizzy and disoriented from the immense force.

‘Who is it? Who’s up there?’

Tisila was enraged, channeling all its strength to push upward again. This time, it was determined to see who was responsible. The creature’s head broke through the surface layers, and it finally breathed the fresh air above ground. But this breath, this sight, would be its last.

As its head emerged, Tisila noticed a glimmering light descending from above. It looked up, only to see the light rapidly approaching.

Its blood-red eyes widened in shock, just as the sound of shattering scales and penetrating flesh echoed. The vibrant colors of the world faded to gray. The red eyes dulled, losing all signs of life.

Shi Ji’s powerful strike had impaled Tisila’s head with a spear, ending the creature’s life.

    It was over.

The force of the impact continued downward, even affecting the foundations of the surrounding buildings. The tall structures on either side began to collapse inward.

Shi Ji glanced at the crumbling buildings, momentarily stunned.

    “Damn. This is awkward.”
