Chapter 65: Class B
by tinytreeCompared to Class A, the students in Class B were much more enthusiastic and sincere. As soon as Shi Ji walked into the classroom, he was warmly welcomed by everyone. The difference from before was striking.
After sitting down, Shi Ji felt very comfortable. This was a feeling he hadn’t experienced at the Star Hero Academy or in Class A.
The atmosphere was pleasant, with students chatting and laughing, even in the classroom. Everything was relaxed.
However, Shi Ji soon realized that the seemingly laid-back nature of Class B was just an illusion. They reminded him of his days in middle and high school. Focused and serious when needed, but also knowing when to relax and not put too much pressure on themselves. The students in Class B were indeed very diligent.
During the five-minute break, some students came up to greet Shi Ji.
From their conversations, he learned that Class A was considered the best class in the academy mainly because all its students had rare star constitutions. Class B, being the second-best, consisted of the most outstanding students with soldier star constitutions.
Class A students generally looked down on those with soldier stars, which made Class B always see Class A as their rival.
Hearing this made Shi Ji quite happy. Switching to this class was exactly what he needed. Jing Xin, that little rascal, had really helped him out this time.
Yinshuang Academy’s curriculum was somewhat similar to a regular university. Excluding weekends, there was one class each in the morning and afternoon from Monday to Friday. Each class was two hours long with a five-minute break in between. The remaining time was for self-study or other activities.
Because it was the first day of official classes, there wasn’t much actual teaching. The Class B teacher mainly summarized the one-week practical task.
Normally, Shi Ji would have been napping at this time, but he stayed alert and listened carefully.
Class B students were indeed hardworking, with all of them having over a hundred points. Comparing himself to them, Shi Ji felt a significant gap for the first time.
Well, not every student, he thought with a smile. After all, he was now part of Class B and was the only student with less than a hundred points, lacking by dozens.
Whenever the topic of points came up, Shi Ji couldn’t help but think about the dining hall situation. He’d have to find someone to explain the specifics of the point system once class was over.
Without realizing it, the class had ended.
Next was free activity time. Students could move around the academy freely until lunchtime at 12, followed by a break.
Many classmates left the room, and a few invited Shi Ji to join them.
Appreciating their enthusiasm, Shi Ji gladly accepted. Just thinking about his sixty points and the prospect of another plain meal made his stomach ache.
As they were about to head to the activity hall, one of the guys suddenly said, “They’re from Class A…”
Everyone turned to look. Sure enough, they saw a group of about ten people walking toward them. There were both boys and girls, the numbers almost equal. It was clear from their demeanor that they weren’t here to be friendly.
Shi Ji noticed them but didn’t pay much attention, even though he knew they were coming for him.
As they approached, Shi Ji recognized some of the guys who had been shouting at him earlier, along with that arrogant girl.
The group of ten stared at Shi Ji.
“You little punk, let’s settle the score from earlier.”
