Chapter 66: Retort

Just then, the Class B students who had left came back. To a certain extent, Class B was much more united than Class A. These people weren’t here to watch the commotion. They were here to back up Shi Ji, even though he was just a new transfer.

There were about ten people from both Class A and Class B, evenly matched.

“Hey! Class A, what do you want?” a boy beside Shi Ji stepped forward to support him.

The tall leader of Class A glared at the boy. 

“Xing Yuxiu, this is a matter between me and him. I advise you not to interfere.”

At this point, Shi Ji took a closer look at the boy named Xing Yuxiu.

Xing Yuxiu wasn’t very tall, about 1.65 meters. With black hair and a scholarly appearance, he wore glasses that gave him an intellectual vibe.

The girl from Class A who had previously mocked Shi Ji looked furious, her face turning an ugly shade of red. She stepped forward, glaring at Shi Ji, about to start cursing. However, before she could, Shi Ji spoke first.

Shi Ji took a step forward, smiling. 

“You look down on us soldier stars just because you have rare star constitutions. I said you were seeking a sense of superiority at Yinshuang Academy. Was I wrong? Star Hero Academy accepts anyone with a rare star constitution. Why didn’t you go there to find your superiority?”

Shi Ji spoke boldly, not because he had back-up, but because he had already confronted the Class A students alone in their classroom.

Hearing Shi Ji’s words, the Class B students burst out laughing. It was as if Shi Ji had voiced their frustrations.

Class A students were already displeased with Shi Ji, and now his words only infuriated them further.

The girl finally spoke up, “Shi Ji! You’re just a piece of trash that Star Hero Academy didn’t want. You pretended to be a new teacher to lecture us. How shameless!”

Shi Ji responded calmly with a smile, “Even as soldier stars, we still made it through Star Hero Academy. That’s better than some people who stay here seeking a sense of superiority and don’t dare go there.”

Shi Ji had found the perfect angle to retort, and he wasn’t going to let it go.

“Shi Ji! You bastard! I’m going to beat you to a pulp!” 

The girl’s face twisted with rage, losing any trace of beauty.

There’s no denying that Shi Ji’s words were harsh.

Class B students cheered, finding it incredibly satisfying.

Hearing the girl threaten to fight, Xing Yuxiu smiled. “Private fights can lead to severe punishments. Are you sure you want to do that?”

The girl then turned to Shi Ji. “Trash Shi Ji, if you have the guts, face me in the arena.”

From this brief exchange, Shi Ji figured something out.

Mentioning the severe consequences of private fights had made the girl suggest the arena instead of fighting on the spot. This indirectly confirmed the seriousness of the punishment for private fights.

“Oh, I’m busy,” Shi Ji replied with a cheerful smile.
