Chapter 82: Come Hit Me
by tinytreeShi Ji was genuinely ready to let Lin Xinyan hit him a few times, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it.
After leaving the cafeteria, Lin Xinyan walked ahead. It was still early, and Xing Yuxiu wanted to take the opportunity to get to know the strong new transfer student better. However, Shi Ji didn’t give him the chance. He said he was in a bad mood and needed some time alone.
Xing Yuxiu tried to comfort him, but Shi Ji’s response left him speechless.
“Instead of comforting words, why don’t you hit me a few times? Hit me with all you’ve got.”
“Alright, alright, you’re strong, you’re amazing. Goodbye, goodbye.”
And with that, Xing Yuxiu left.
This method of calming himself wasn’t very effective for Shi Ji. A few punches would have felt more real.
He wandered aimlessly until he ended up somewhere unfamiliar. It was a secluded spot with hardly anyone around.
Finally, he stopped and slowly turned around.
In front of him stood not one, but a solid group of a dozen or so people.
Their presence was obvious, and Shi Ji had noticed them long before. He knew they were looking for him but didn’t bother to ask why.
These were all unfamiliar faces, and he didn’t recognize any of them.
“Alright, alright, you couldn’t find a more considerate person than me. This place is secluded enough and conveniently out of the camera’s view. Come on, hit me,” Shi Ji said, sounding extremely impatient.
He needed someone to hit him a few times. Although it sounded ridiculous, that’s how it was. Finding such a place was entirely for that purpose.
As soon as Shi Ji finished speaking, the dozen people in front of him were stunned. This wasn’t how it was supposed to go.
At that moment, someone pushed through the group from behind. It was a girl, and she wasn’t bad-looking. Shi Ji recognized her immediately.
“Oh, it’s you. If you want to fight, hurry up. I’m in a bad mood and need to relax,” he said.
The girl who squeezed through was none other than Ling Si. She wasn’t ready to let things go from that morning.
The events of the morning were far from over. While Ling Si felt that Chi Yang would swallow his anger, she wouldn’t. She had to reclaim her dignity. So she gathered a dozen close friends from her class, planning to teach Shi Ji a lesson.
In crowded places, it was difficult to start a fight, but Shi Ji had conveniently walked to a less populated area, which also happened to be a blind spot for surveillance cameras.
Even though the place was well-chosen, Shi Ji’s unreasonable request took them by surprise. Not only were his attackers taken aback, but even Ling Si herself looked astonished.
Furrowing her brow, Ling Si thought this was Shi Ji being arrogant and looking down on her.
“Shi Ji, you bastard, don’t think that beating me means you’ve beaten all of us. Everyone, get him and teach this arrogant guy a lesson!” she shouted.
Ling Si could no longer tolerate the insult and didn’t want to waste words with Shi Ji.
With that, the group swarmed toward Shi Ji.
Shi Ji stayed completely calm, not at all intimidated by the dozen or so people charging at him.
He stood his ground. He didn’t move an inch, and even casually scratched his ear.
“I’m in the mood for a fight, so give it your all. But let me be clear, fight as much as you want, but don’t dirty my clothes. They’re new,” he said.
