Chapter 91: Psychological Gap

Xing Yuxiu was feeling quite uneasy. He glared coldly at Shi Ji, his face filled with displeasure, clearly feeling indignant.

Shi Ji ignored him. He kept his head down and focused on eating the meat he had gotten from Lin Xinyan and Shi Lin.

Xing Yuxiu was also eating meat, but each bite felt tasteless and difficult to swallow.

Earlier, when they mentioned eating, Lin Xinyan happened to come by, so they all went to the cafeteria together.

Shi Lin, however, didn’t think much of it and laughed, “It’s okay, it’s okay, we’re all classmates. Xing Yuxiu, you don’t need to get so worked up.”

Hearing Shi Lin’s words, Xing Yuxiu’s emotions calmed down a bit.

At that moment, Shi Lin added some ribs to Shi Ji’s plate.

“Shi Ji, since you have fewer credits, you can’t get much food. I brought all these for you, take your time eating.”

Xing Yuxiu was speechless. His face turned from pale to pitch black. Shi Lin’s actions felt like rubbing salt into his wounds.

Seeing Xing Yuxiu’s expression, Lin Xinyan laughed.

After the meal, Lin Xinyan and Shi Lin left first, while Xing Yuxiu stayed behind to express his various grievances to Shi Ji before leaving as well.

Shi Ji didn’t pay much attention to Xing Yuxiu’s complaints. He found him rather annoying and peculiar, not like the Xing Yuxiu he knew.

On his way back to the dorm, someone blocked his path again. Unlike yesterday, today it was just one person, a girl—Ling Si.

Shi Ji saw Ling Si and remained expressionless.
