Chapter 95: Tensions Rising
by tinytreeAfter the afternoon classes, Shi Ji was heading to the arena to keep his appointment.
Shi Ji had never worried about the situation, and neither had Xinyan. After lunch, as they were about to part ways, Xinyan offered some words of encouragement. Even though she knew Shi Ji was very strong, she felt that verbal support was still necessary.
Having known Xinyan for only a short while, Shi Ji had already developed a great impression of her. To Shi Ji, Xin Yan was someone who was easy to get close to. It was a special feeling, very comfortable.
Seeing Xinyan leave, Shi Ji couldn’t help but call out to her.
“Xinyan!”
The girl stopped and turned around, smiling at Shi Ji.
“What’s up?”
Shi Ji smiled gently, “You’ll come this afternoon, right?”
“Of course.” Xin Yan replied without hesitation.

The environment at Yinshuang Academy was ideal for Shi Ji. In the few days since he had enrolled, aside from the unpleasant attitudes of most A-Class students, the academy seemed nearly flawless.
During these days of classes, Shi Ji might have been lost in thought, but he never dozed off.
The ugly faces of those Class A students were the blemishes of Yinshuang Academy. There was nothing wrong with competitiveness, but it was wrong to constantly look down on those weaker than oneself, seeking superiority from others. Such people were what Shi Ji despised.
Returning to his dormitory, Shi Ji opened the chess set he had bought and threw all the black pieces into the trash.
Shi Ji activated his Star Hero power. In his hand appeared a silver-white, magnificent longsword, four feet long and sparkling. If one didn’t pay close attention, they might think the sword was transparent.
Holding the longsword, Shi Ji swung it repeatedly at the wall above his bed.
The sword clashed with the wall, creating a series of crackling sounds.
After a short while, Shi Ji stopped his movements, and the longsword disappeared.
At this moment, a grotesque and haphazardly carved “General” character was visible above the headboard. Shi Ji had deliberately scratched it a few more times.
Looking at this, Shi Ji nodded in satisfaction.
“Perfect. Class A kids, just wait and see how I’ll bully you this afternoon.”
Shi Ji couldn’t help but laugh, but he only laughed once before abruptly stopping.
“Crap! I forgot to move the bed, and now all the wall debris has fallen onto it.”

After the afternoon class ended, Xing Yuxiu left early to prepare a summary for the class. Most of the other students, taking advantage of the weekend, chose to leave the academy and head to the city for some fun.
Shi Lin kindly invited Shi Ji to join them, but Shi Ji declined because he had other plans.
This afternoon, Shi Ji was set to face a significant number of Class A students. Though it was a big deal, it seemed like no unrelated people knew about it. It appeared that Class A didn’t want to publicize it, and for Shi Ji, such trivial matters weren’t worth spreading around.
So, Shi Ji headed to the arena as agreed, alone.
Arriving at Section 5 of the East Wing of the arena, Shi Ji found the entrance door closed. However, there were students guarding the door, presumably from class A.
He approached the two and said with a smile, “Let’s go in together. I’ll deal with you all soon.”
These two students gritted their teeth in anger. If it weren’t for the surveillance cameras, they might have already attacked him.
“Kid, you’re going to regret this.”
Shi Ji wasn’t usually an arrogant person, but when he was, it was always towards those he found detestable.
The door opened, and the vast arena was almost empty. Clearly, Class A had reserved this 5th section for themselves.
Once inside, Shi Ji immediately spotted Ling Si and the others in the center of the arena. He then looked around the stands, searching for Xinyan’s figure.
Xinyan sat in a corner of the stands. She stood up and waved at him from a distance when she saw him enter. Shi Ji raised his hand in response. With Xinyan there, everything would be fine.
