Chapter 369: Godlike Driving Skills
by tinytree“Shameless!”
Seeing the Lamborghini pull the same dirty move again, Li Yunxi was furious. Her delicate brows arched sharply as she slammed her palm down onto Lin Xiao’s thigh. Whether intentional or not, no one knew.
Lin Xiao cast her a glance, saying nothing. His expression remained completely calm, without the slightest ripple in his gaze.
At this moment, his mind was as still as a lake. There was only one thing in his world: the Lamborghini ahead.
Inside the Lamborghini—
The young driver let out a cold chuckle, smirking to himself. “Now you see how good I am? Trying to overtake me? Keep dreaming!”
As if he had sensed the young man’s thoughts, Lin Xiao’s eyes flashed coldly. Suddenly, he released the gas pedal, and the Ferrari immediately slowed down, widening the gap between them.
“What’s going on?!” Li Yunxi instantly panicked, turning her head toward Lin Xiao’s side profile. “Why are you slowing down?! We were just about to overtake him!”
“Just watch.”
Lin Xiao’s tone remained calm, his expression unwavering.
Li Yunxi gritted her teeth, resisting the urge to bite him on the neck out of frustration.
“Fine! Just wait till you win. Then I’ll show you what I can do.” She huffed angrily in her heart.
Lin Xiao’s sudden slowdown had also caught the Lamborghini driver off guard.
Through the rearview mirror, he saw the Ferrari falling behind and frowned slightly.
“Why is he slowing down? Did he give up?”
But just as this thought crossed his mind, the Ferrari suddenly roared back to life. Its speed surged even higher than before, as if it had completely lost control, and it charged straight at him like a wild beast.
In just seconds, the Ferrari closed the gap and moved toward the right, appearing as if it was trying to overtake from that side.
“Hah! You think a sudden slowdown will make me drop my guard? Idiot!”
The young man sneered, jerking the wheel right, once again blocking the path—the same trick as before.
“Hook, line, and sinker.”
Lin Xiao’s eyes gleamed sharply.
At the exact moment the Lamborghini swerved right, Lin Xiao smashed the gas pedal to the floor.
The Ferrari exploded forward at full speed, but instead of going right, it suddenly swerved left.
The Ferrari narrowly brushed past the Lamborghini’s rear, cutting to the left side. In mere seconds, it had completely overtaken it.
Everything happened in a single instant. It was so fast that the human eye could barely process it.
Inside the Lamborghini—
The young man stared blankly at the Ferrari speeding ahead, his mind in complete chaos.
“What… just happened?”
A storm raged in his heart. He couldn’t believe his eyes.
“That kind of move… that kind of skill… How is that even possible?!”
He was completely flustered. The young man slammed his fist against the steering wheel—forgetting that he was still racing at high speed.
The Lamborghini immediately lost control. The car veered off the highway, smashing through several trees before finally coming to a forceful stop.
Luckily, his driving skills were still good—otherwise, he’d be dead.
Even so, he was covered in cold sweat, his face as pale as a sheet, his hands trembling uncontrollably.
It took him a long moment before he finally recovered, looking up in the direction where the Ferrari had disappeared.
The car was already long gone.
“Damn it!!”
He clenched his teeth in rage, kicking the wrecked Lamborghini. The once-pristine supercar was now completely totaled. The front hood dented inward, both front wheels missing.
“Bastard! You nearly killed me!” The young man’s expression twisted in fury. “You won’t get away with this!”
His hands curled into fists as he glared at the direction the Ferrari had vanished, his eyes burning with hatred.
“I memorized your license plate. You just wait.”
He completely forgot that he himself had pulled the exact same move earlier on Li Yunxi. Lin Xiao had simply given him a taste of his own medicine.
After kicking the Lamborghini a few more times, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
“Hello, Uncle Long? I just had a car accident. Come pick me up. And bring some men.”

Meanwhile, inside the Ferrari, Li Yunxi was just as stunned by Lin Xiao’s godlike driving skills.
No—calling it just driving skills wasn’t enough.
It was a flawless fusion of willpower, instincts, judgment, and precision. If he hadn’t had unshakable mental strength, a fearless heart, a razor-sharp sense of timing, and perfect control, he never could’ve pulled off that move.
For a long moment, Li Yunxi just stared at him in pure shock.
Eyes wide. Lips slightly parted. Completely speechless.
After what felt like forever, she finally snapped out of it. Swallowing hard, she suddenly grabbed Lin Xiao’s arm and shook him violently.
“Lin Xiao! Tell me how you did that!”
Even as she shook his arm, Lin Xiao’s grip on the wheel didn’t waver in the slightest. He simply eased off the gas, slowing the Ferrari down, and answered calmly:
“I wanted to do it. So I did.”
Li Yunxi rolled her eyes hard.
“I’m being serious!. If you don’t tell me, I’m staying on your lap forever.”
To prove her point, she even wriggled her body a little, glaring at him defiantly.
Lin Xiao remained completely unbothered.
“Go ahead. It’s not me who’s at a disadvantage.”
“Tch! Whatever. As if I care.”
Li Yunxi grumbled under her breath but finally crawled off his lap and back into the passenger seat.
“It’s not that I don’t want to tell you,” Lin Xiao said flatly, keeping his eyes on the road. “Even if I did, you wouldn’t understand.”
Then, as if casually reminding her:
“By the way,I just avenged you. And this is how you treat your savior?”
Li Yunxi pouted, waving a dismissive hand.
“Oh, come on. We’re practically family. My problems are your problems, right?” Then, as if her anger had completely disappeared, she added smugly, “Besides, compared to your skills, that guy was a total amateur. I’m not even mad anymore, it’s just small stuff.”
Lin Xiao fell silent.
How was he even supposed to respond to that?
After driving a bit longer, Lin Xiao pulled the Ferrari over, switching seats with Li Yunxi again.
She resumed driving, while Lin Xiao leaned back in the passenger seat, closing his eyes to rest.
