“Nonsense, I specifically booked this room for you, so what do you think?” Li Yunxi rolled her eyes at Lin Xiao. “Forget it, I know you wouldn’t understand even if I explained. Manager Zhao, take him for a proper soak, and then come back later.”

Li Yunxi signaled Manager Zhao with a glance while speaking.

Her look didn’t escape Lin Xiao, deepening his curiosity.

Manager Zhao, catching the hint, turned to Lin Xiao with a smile. “Sir, please follow me.”

“No, I’m fine as it is,” Lin Xiao refused, shaking his head.

“Just go if I tell you to. Don’t think I haven’t noticed the injury on your hand. A medicinal bath will do you good, I’m not out to harm you.” Li Yunxi glanced at the bandage on Lin Xiao’s hand and pushed him out of the room with a firm push on his back.

Lin Xiao, realizing Li Yunxi’s concern, felt a warmth in his heart. He opened his mouth to say something, but ultimately, seeing Li Yunxi’s earnest expression, he remained silent.

Li Yunxi, despite her seemingly carefree and tough demeanor, was observant and noted Lin Xiao’s injury.

Her primary reason for bringing Lin Xiao to this wellness club was for him to take care of his body. Since his injury was only superficial and appreciating Li Yunxi’s gesture, Lin Xiao didn’t insist on refusing.

He followed Manager Zhao to another room. This room, about ten square meters in size, was floored with black, glossy ceramic tiles. In the center stood a circular pool two meters in diameter.

The pool was filled with a concoction of unknown medicinal herbs, emitting gently swirling steam. The air was thick with the fragrance of herbs.

After escorting Lin Xiao into the room, Manager Zhao exited and softly shut the door behind her.

Lin Xiao undressed, stepped into the medicinal pool, fully immersed his body in the water, and closed his eyes.

The medicinal bath’s effect was undeniably excellent. Lin Xiao felt revitalized and relaxed after just a short time.

Roughly ten minutes later, the door quietly opened, and a slender figure sneaked into the room. She cautiously approached Lin Xiao from behind, glanced at him with his eyes closed, and stretched out her hand towards his clothes set aside.

“Miss Li, what are you planning?” Lin Xiao suddenly said, his eyes still shut.

Li Yunxi’s movements stiffened, her tone defiant, “How did you know it was me?”

“Your scent,” Lin Xiao opened his eyes, a flicker of intrigue passing through them. In truth, he had sensed her presence the moment she was at the door. With Lin Xiao’s acute senses, he could detect even a mosquito flying past him.

Li Yunxi sniffed herself but couldn’t detect anything.

Despite being caught by Lin Xiao, she didn’t halt her actions and grabbed his clothes.

With the clothes in hand, Li Yunxi’s demeanor shifted dramatically. She stood upright, hands on her hips, and challenged, “Lin Xiao, I’m asking you one more time, are you willing to follow me?”

Lin Xiao hadn’t expected Li Yunxi to be so persistent. Despite his tranquil disposition, he couldn’t hide his surprise. “You’ve done all this just for that?”

“Of course, you’re the first to reject me, the first to stand me up, and you even had the nerve to spank my butt just now. Don’t think I’ll forget about these incidents so easily.” Li Yunxi snorted, “If your answer doesn’t satisfy me, then get ready for a naked run.”

“What if I refuse?” Lin Xiao asked calmly, his face showing no sign of apprehension.

Li Yunxi flicked the clothes in her hand, her lips curling into a smug grin, “Didn’t I say? If you don’t agree, forget about getting your clothes back. Prepare for a nude jog home, hahaha.”

Laughing, she placed her hands on her hips.

Lin Xiao was left somewhat speechless, not anticipating Li Yunxi’s bold strategy. However, given Miss Li’s temperament, she genuinely seemed likely to follow through.

“Are you sure you want to go through with this?”

“Absolutely, this auntie stands by her word. So, will you follow, or not?”

“I will not.” Lin Xiao’s reply was straightforward and unhesitating.

“Tsk, quite the backbone, I see. Well, enjoy your run,” Li Yunxi, caught off guard by Lin Xiao’s firm refusal, eventually scoffed.

“Really?” Lin Xiao suddenly sprang from the water and landed in front of Li Yunxi, “Apologies, but streaking isn’t in my repertoire.”

While speaking, Lin Xiao swiftly grabbed his clothes back.

Li Yunxi hadn’t expected Lin Xiao to dare to jump out of the water. Before she could react, she was soaked by the splash he created.

Her white shirt became semi-transparent when wet, clinging tightly to her fair skin and revealing her sultry body curves. It took a few seconds for Li Yunxi to come to her senses; her first instinct was to cover her upper body before she turned to look at Lin Xiao.

“You seem quite disappointed?”

“A bit,” Li Yunxi candidly admitted, “It’s just curiosity since I haven’t before. Maybe you could give me a peek?”

At Li Yunxi’s daring suggestion, Lin Xiao was left speechless, sighing as he began to dress. Despite being observed by such a stunning beauty, Lin Xiao, far from an average man, dressed with ease, unbothered by any potential awkwardness.

Miss Li seized this chance, her gaze lingering on Lin Xiao as he dressed, her face growing redder, her eyes shimmering with unspoken thoughts.

Once Lin Xiao was fully dressed, Li Yunxi finally remarked leisurely, “Lin Xiao, has anyone ever told you how sexy your body is?”

Lin Xiao’s lips twitched, offering no reply.

“Don’t be shy now. You’re a man, after all. It’s not like you lose anything by being seen,” Li Yunxi teased, one hand modestly covering herself, while the other lightly patted Lin Xiao’s shoulder, her face alight with a playful grin.
