After about an hour, the bus arrived at the center, and Lin Xiao led Yuan Yu and Huang Caixing off the bus.

Before leaving, Lin Xiao checked the map and knew where the largest 4S store in Jinghai City was nearby. So, after getting off the bus, he confidently guided the two girls toward their destination.

After walking for about ten minutes, a large 4S store came into view.

Upon entering the 4S store, they were immediately approached by a female sales representative dressed in a black professional suit. She had a pleasant appearance and eagerly asked, “Hello sir, welcome. How can I assist you today?”

“I want to buy a car,” Lin Xiao said.

He glanced around the store but didn’t see the type of car he was interested in, which made him frown slightly.

“What kind of car are you looking for?” the sales representative asked.

“SUV,” Lin Xiao replied succinctly.

The sales representative began listing off options, “We have BMW, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, and other brands of SUVs. Which brand do you prefer?”

The brands she listed covered most of the well-known SUV manufacturers on the market, but the car Lin Xiao had in mind wasn’t among them.

Lin Xiao thought for a moment and said, “Porsche.”

The sales representative was taken aback, clearly not expecting Lin Xiao to mention this brand. “Porsche?”

In her experience, Porsche was usually associated with sports cars.

“Porsche Cayenne.”

“Apologies,” the sales representative said, looking slightly embarrassed. “Please wait a moment while I check if we have any Cayenne models in stock.”

“Is it the fastest SUV in the world?” Before Lin Xiao could respond, a man’s voice suddenly came from behind them. “Excuse me, sir, are you looking to buy a Porsche Cayenne?”

The three of them turned around abruptly and saw a middle-aged man in a suit standing not far away.

The man appeared to be in his forties, with neatly combed hair and an air of competence. His name tag revealed that he was the manager of this 4S store.

Lin Xiao showed no surprise at the man’s appearance and nodded. “That’s right.”

“We do have a luxury limited-edition Porsche Cayenne, but it’s quite expensive. Are you sure you want to buy it?” the manager asked, then quickly added to avoid any misunderstanding, “This Cayenne is an upgraded model, with all configurations far exceeding those of a standard Cayenne. It can even rival a sports car, hence the price is several times that of a regular Cayenne. I just wanted to confirm with you.”

Lin Xiao replied calmly, “If it’s worth the price, I’ll buy it, no matter the cost.”

“That’s all I needed to hear. I’ll have someone bring the car over right away.”

The manager’s heart leaped with joy, seeing that Lin Xiao was serious. A smile spread across his face.

“Please wait here.”

The manager led Lin Xiao and the two girls to a sofa in the store and had a server bring them some drinks before leaving swiftly.

This 4S store was quite spacious, catering to customers’ needs by not only showcasing various car models but also providing comfortable seating areas for relaxation.

After sitting on the sofa for a while, sipping their drinks and chatting, Huang Caixing suddenly fidgeted and said to Lin Xiao, “Big Brother Lin, YuYu and I need to step out for a bit. You stay here and wait for us, okay?”

Lin Xiao was slightly taken aback and was about to ask what they were up to, but seeing the embarrassed look on Huang Caixing’s face, he held back his question.

“Alright, but be quick.”

“Got it,” Huang Caixing stood up, waved at Lin Xiao, and pulled Yuan Yu towards a corner of the store.

As the two girls walked away, whispering to each other, Huang Caixing said something that made Yuan Yu lightly tap her on the shoulder.

Lin Xiao watched the charming and lively figures of the two girls with a sense of tranquility.

This kind of life was truly his dream come true.

However, Lin Xiao’s peaceful moment didn’t last long. About five minutes later, Yuan Yu and Huang Caixing reappeared in his line of sight.

But now, their faces were much different, a stark contrast to the joy they had when they left. Yuan Yu’s face was cold and silent, while Huang Caixing’s face was filled with anger, and they were both walking quickly.

Around them, three young men, about twenty years old, were following closely, wearing sly smiles and continuously harassing the two girls.

These three young men were dressed in designer clothes. One had several gold chains around his neck, another had multiple shiny rings on his fingers, and the third wore a diamond earring, betraying that they were rich kids from wealthy families.

“Hey, beauties, don’t be so cold. How about making some friends?” the guy with the gold chains said with a cheeky grin, his eyes roving over Yuan Yu and Huang Caixing in a manner that was both obnoxious and irritating.

The guy with the rings on his fingers smugly showed them off, “Yeah, beauties, don’t walk so fast. Let’s get to know each other. We’re not bad guys.”

Yuan Yu and Huang Caixing couldn’t be bothered to respond to these three playboys, treating them like annoying flies. To them, everything these guys said was just the buzzing of flies.

Lin Xiao’s face darkened, and he stood up from the sofa.

Although he didn’t know what had happened, he was certain it wasn’t anything good.

At this moment, Huang Caixing and Yuan Yu also spotted Lin Xiao. Their faces immediately lit up with smiles, blooming like flowers and momentarily stunning the three playboys who couldn’t take their eyes off them.

Feeling the hot gazes from the boys, Yuan Yu and Huang Caixing frowned in disgust. They quickened their pace and half-ran to Lin Xiao, each hugging one of his arms.
