Chapter 407: Defeating the Enemy in One Move
by tinytree‘Since you wish to make me the target of all, I shall oblige and see what means you possess,’ Lin Xiao thought to himself.
This villa might seem heavily guarded, akin to a dragon’s lair or tiger’s den to others, but Lin Xiao was confident that, if he wished, he could eliminate everyone here within three minutes.
He wasn’t a bloodthirsty person, and with Wan Caixuan beside him, he wouldn’t act rashly.
However, if others didn’t offend him, he wouldn’t offend them; if they did, Lin Xiao wasn’t one to meekly endure and would certainly teach those harboring ill intentions a good lesson.
Hearing Lin Xiao’s words, the scions present were infuriated, pointing at him and hurling insults. Wu Donglai, Nangong Hao, and others turned to their bodyguards, intending to teach Lin Xiao a lesson.
Yet, as esteemed individuals, they had no intention of personally confronting Lin Xiao.
“Miss Wan, you’ve heard Mr. Lin’s words.”
Jiang Shiliu, his scheme succeeding, feigned a troubled expression and said to Wan Caixuan, “He insists on sparring with everyone, I can’t stop him. What do you suggest?”
Wan Caixuan, having calmed down, glanced at Jiang Shiliu with a look of pity and said indifferently, “Do as you wish.”
“Alright, since Miss Wan says so, I’m relieved.” Jiang Shiliu raised his voice so all could hear, “Gentlemen, if any of you have experts under your command, why not have them spar with Mr. Lin?”
“I’ll go first,” Wu Donglai shouted, snapping his fingers. “Jingang, teach this guy a harsh lesson.”
He then lowered his arm, pointing viciously at Lin Xiao.
As Wu Donglai’s words fell, a towering white man stepped into the crowd.
This man stood over two meters tall, with blond hair, cold eyes, and exceptionally developed muscles. His upper body was so robust it seemed almost deformed, with pectoral muscles appearing ready to burst.
His extraordinarily long arms bore calloused hands, and on each arm were vivid tattoos of a bear’s and tiger’s head, exuding ferocity.
“Wow! This guy is massive!”
Sounds of astonishment arose, with everyone showing expressions of shock.
“Boss, you want me to deal with this little bean sprout?”
The man called Jingang swaggered up to Lin Xiao, glanced at him disdainfully, and spoke in fluent Yanhuang language, “I’m afraid if I hit too hard, I’ll kill him.”
“Even if you kill him, it’s fine, it’s a fair duel, and fists and feet have no eyes.” Wu Donglai crossed his arms, saying coldly, “But try to go easy, crippling him will suffice.”
“Understood, I’ll try.” Jingang raised his arms, stretching his chest, causing a series of cracks to echo as his muscles swelled, veins bulging like worms. He then extended his finger toward Lin Xiao, beckoning, “Little bean sprout, come on, I’ll let you make the first move, lest you have no chance later.”
“Is that so?” Lin Xiao tilted his head, slowly removing his suit jacket. Standing beside him, Wan Caixuan naturally reached out to take it. “Then I won’t stand on ceremony.”
“Don’t mention it.” Jingang grinned hideously, his eyes faintly red. “Take your time, while you’re still alive, savor the beauty of life.”
Lin Xiao removed his suit jacket, then unbuttoned his shirt cuffs, carefully rolling up his sleeves. This outfit was bought by Ning Xi and was quite expensive; Lin Xiao didn’t want to ruin it in the fight.
“What’s this guy doing? Is he trying to stall?”
“What other reason could there be? I bet he’s so scared he’s about to wet his pants.”
“Mr. Lin, if you don’t hurry up, the sun will set.”
“Even if you stall, how long can you? Better to get it over with.”
Mocking laughter echoed from the crowd.
Lin Xiao ignored the jeers, unhurriedly rolling up his sleeves before looking at Jingang, saying, “I’m about to make my move, be careful.”
Jingang, already impatient, merely curled his finger, too lazy to respond.
Lin Xiao’s expression remained unchanged as he took a step forward.
This step, though seemingly slow, covered three meters instantly, bringing him face-to-face with Jingang.
Jingang, expecting Lin Xiao to attack, hadn’t anticipated such speed. When Lin Xiao appeared before him, he was still looking at where Lin Xiao had stood, unable to retract his gaze in time.
“What?”
A second later, Jingang reacted, eyes widening in alarm. A strong sense of danger made his hair stand on end, and he instinctively raised his fists to smash Lin Xiao’s head. But before his fists could touch Lin Xiao, Lin Xiao had already placed a palm gently on his chest.
This press seemed soft but carried immense force.
Jingang’s massive body was like being hit by a speeding train, uncontrollably flying backward, feet off the ground, crashing toward Wu Donglai standing behind.
As he flew, he flailed his limbs, looking exceedingly comical.
On the other side, Wu Donglai was boasting to Nangong Hao and others, “Jingang isn’t an ordinary person. I hired him at great expense. He’s exceptionally gifted. Did you see the bear and tiger heads on his arms? They’re proof of his bare-handed fights with polar bears and Siberian tigers. He once fought an Anjin master who couldn’t hurt him but had both arms broken by him. This guy Lin Xiao is doomed, you… uh!”
Before Wu Donglai could finish, he let out a strangled cry of extreme shock, eyes widening in disbelief.
Jingang’s figure grew larger in his pupils, the distance between them rapidly closing.
Nangong Hao, Li Chengkun, and others sensed something amiss and swiftly stepped aside, leaving Wu Donglai in place.
Wu Donglai, his body weakened by indulgence and lacking mental fortitude, was so terrified by the incoming Jingang that he forgot to dodge, standing frozen.
Bang!
With a dull thud, Jingang’s over-200-kilogram body slammed into Wu Donglai, eliciting a scream as he fell backward.
Unfortunately, Jingang’s body landed right on top of him.
“Ah! My neck!”
Wu Donglai, crushed, screamed in agony, sounding like a slaughtered pig.
