Chapter 492: Sweeping Through
by tinytreeIn the next instant, the two men’s legs collided.
A vicious grin appeared on the burly man’s face, as if he already saw Lin Xiao with a broken leg, lying on the ground, howling in pain.
However, before the grin could fully form, a sharp crack sounded in his ears, followed by excruciating pain flooding his mind.
It was true that someone’s leg had broken. But it wasn’t Lin Xiao’s, it was his own.
The burly man’s calf twisted at a bizarre angle. Even with skin covering it, the broken bone protruding could still be seen. Despite all his training and toughness, he couldn’t help but let out a muffled groan of pain, cold sweat instantly breaking out on his forehead.
To him, what he had kicked wasn’t a human leg, but an unyielding steel pillar.
“This guy’s strong. Watch out!”
Even with his calf shattered, the man’s first reaction was to warn his companions. Then he spread his arms wide, gritted through the pain, and lunged fiercely toward Lin Xiao.
Lin Xiao extended a single finger and gently tapped the man’s chest.
The man’s burly frame was blasted off the ground, like he’d been hit by a speeding car. He flew back over four meters. Then hit the ground, hard. Rolled. Tumbled. Another seven, maybe eight meters, before finally coming to a stop.
He clutched his chest with force, face pale, completely losing the strength to continue fighting.
“Hiss!”
Behind Lin Xiao, the sound of gasping could be heard in succession. It came from the staff of Brilliant Aya Limited.
They had known Lin Xiao was strong, but never imagined he was this strong.
With just one finger, he had sent a man weighing over 200 pounds flying. What kind of monstrous power was that?
The burly men stationed at the building entrance now wore extremely grim expressions. Behind their sunglasses, their eyes were locked on Lin Xiao. They instinctively placed their hands at their waists, where bulges indicated the presence of handguns.
“I don’t want to kill anyone right now,” Lin Xiao stepped forward and finally spoke his first sentence, “But if you dare to draw your guns, I can guarantee not one of you will leave here alive.”
His voice was calm and indifferent, not like a warning but as if stating the simplest fact.
Behind his sunglasses, the lead man’s eyes flickered with uncertainty. Ultimately, he gave up on drawing his weapon, not only because the person who ordered the building to be sealed had instructed no guns to be used, but also because he had a strong premonition.
If he ignored the words of this man in front of him, the result would be disastrous.
He gestured with his hand. “All together.”
The remaining six men immediately spread out like a trained pack of wolves, encircling Lin Xiao. They exchanged glances silently and then, simultaneously, pounced on him.
Their attack wasn’t reckless. Two tangled with Lin Xiao, two tried to grab his arms, and another attacked from behind to choke his neck.
As for the leader, he kicked off the ground like a leopard, arms wide open, aiming to wrap around Lin Xiao’s waist.
Lin Xiao’s forward steps didn’t pause at all. He allowed them to block his movement—first his shoulders, then his arms, then his throat, and finally his waist.
In a flash, six men clung to Lin Xiao’s body.
Six well-trained, powerfully built elite fighters.
“Stop him!”
The lead man let out a low growl. His arms exploded with power, his body bent like a bow, muscles tensed like steel, feet rooted to the ground, exerting a massive force.
“Hup!”
The other five exhaled sharply, powering up simultaneously, trying to bring Lin Xiao down.
However, even under the full force of all six men, Lin Xiao’s body still advanced steadily. Each step was firm and powerful. It was as if the people hanging on him weren’t six strong men, but six floating balloons.
“How is this possible?!”
Even with their mental toughness, the six men were on the verge of a breakdown.
Their combined strength, acting on Lin Xiao’s body, had no effect, like stones sinking into the ocean.
The difference was simply too vast.
Outside the building, the company staff stared in disbelief, their expressions stunned beyond words.
They had thought Lin Xiao must be strong to serve as the CEO’s personal bodyguard, but never imagined he’d be this powerful.
Eight words involuntarily came to their minds:
“Ants shaking a tree, overestimating themselves.”
Inside the building, more and more burly men poured in from various corners, rushing toward Lin Xiao. But when they saw the astonishing sight before them, they instinctively slowed down, shock visible on their faces.
“Break time’s over. Time to start the show,” Lin Xiao muttered to himself.
In his calm, deep eyes, a blaze suddenly ignited. His body shook, and a vast aura surged forth from within him.
The six men clinging to him were struck as if by lightning, flung away without the slightest resistance. They crashed to the ground like scarecrows, tumbling seven or eight meters away, unable to get up again.
A cold glint flashed in Lin Xiao’s eyes. He took a step forward, leaving behind a trailing shadow, and in an instant, his figure vanished from the building’s entrance.
When he reappeared, he was already inside the lobby.
“Stop him!”
“Don’t let him go up!”
“Attack!”
The surrounding guards all shouted fiercely and lunged at him!
One man in front raised his fist and swung directly at Lin Xiao’s face. But before he could connect, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. His body lifted off the ground and flailed midair before crashing down.
He hit the floor, taking down two others with him. But the rest of the men charged on relentlessly, diving into the melee—even at the cost of being beaten back.
Lin Xiao’s eyes blazed brilliantly. His fighting spirit ignited completely. He abandoned all technique and defense, relying solely on pure power, engaging in a raw, close-quarters brawl.
In the chaos, a punch landed on Lin Xiao’s face. But he didn’t even frown—instead, he immediately struck back, sending the man flying.
Just after finishing one, several others surged in again. In the blink of an eye, he was surrounded.
In the scuffle, one man grabbed Lin Xiao’s shirt, trying to pull him down. But Lin Xiao’s body didn’t move at all. His shirt was torn in half, revealing his iron-forged, chiseled upper body.
Lin Xiao’s physique wasn’t bulky or overly muscular, but every inch of muscle on his body brimmed with power—truly the ideal form.
He was like a block of raw iron, refined through tens of thousands of hammer strikes, ultimately forged into steel.
Crack!
Lin Xiao’s left hand flashed out like lightning, grabbing the man’s wrist and twisting it effortlessly. Then he kicked him square in the chest, sending him flying sideways, crashing into two more behind him.
Even with his wrist broken, the man didn’t utter a sound, displaying tenacious and formidable willpower.
However, when the difference in strength was this overwhelming, willpower alone was meaningless.
Bang!
Smack!
Thud!
The sound of combat echoed through the lobby. One after another, the men around Lin Xiao were knocked flying.
If these burly men were like a raging tide, then Lin Xiao was the immovable reef.
No matter how fierce the waves, they could only shatter upon that rock.
Lin Xiao’s power was too terrifying. None of them could withstand even a single blow. No matter which part of the body he struck, the target instantly lost the ability to continue fighting.
In just one minute, the area around Lin Xiao was filled with fallen men—some with broken arms, others with fractured legs, bruised faces, or bleeding heads—not a single one unscathed.
