The four program inspectors standing outside the iron railing were stunned.

“Earlier, we only saw Wang Yun shouting toward his side, but we only caught sight of him. We didn’t see the other two, though they’re probably with him,” the lead inspector said with a frown.

Hearing this, Zhao Youcheng pondered for a moment.

“Wang Yun is incredibly cunning. Captain Wu, assign more people to search elsewhere. Judging by his personality, they’ve likely split up. Huh? Wait a second!”

Mid-sentence, Zhao Youcheng suddenly had a realization. He strode toward the four inspectors by the railing.

“Where exactly did you see Wang Yun earlier? Was it near the drop tower?” Zhao Youcheng asked with a serious expression.

“Yes, it was in that area!”

As soon as the inspector responded, Zhao Youcheng immediately shouted, “Dammit! He’s trying to create a diversion.”

“A diversion?” Wu Yaoming ran over, looking shocked.

“Quickly, Captain Wu! Hurry, Wang Yun is definitely trying to distract us so his two teammates can escape.”

With Zhao Youcheng’s explanation, Wu Yaoming instantly understood.

“I’ll take people there immediately. Old Zhao, this area is in your hands.”

Without hesitation, Wu Yaoming waved his team forward, running off into the distance.

Meanwhile, Zhao Youcheng turned around urgently.

“If Wang Yun is trying to draw us away, then we’ll turn this into an ambush. Let’s make sure his plan fails. Surround the area completely. Not even a fly should get through,” Zhao Youcheng roared.

The team instantly became more alert.

In the livestream chat, Director Fang watched this unfold with great interest.

“I have to admit, Zhao Youcheng is remarkably capable. He’s accurately predicted Wang Yun’s every move,” he commented.

“His thought process and logic are almost identical to Wang Yun’s. It seems a formidable opponent has finally emerged,” Fang Lao sighed while watching the screen.

Wang Yun, meanwhile, had just entered the roller skate shop. His gaze locked onto a pair of skates hanging on the wall.

Unlike the others on the shelves, which had four wheels, this pair had six wheels. Not only that, but there were two small side wheels on each shoe, seemingly for added support.

The design looked strange but intriguing.

“You’ll do,” Wang Yun muttered, grabbing the skates without hesitation.

He put them on right away and was pleasantly surprised to find they fit perfectly.

    “Huh? This is high-tech?”

As soon as Wang Yun slipped his feet into the skates, the laces automatically tightened with a mechanical whir.

This unexpected feature caught Wang Yun off guard, and he began to admire them.

It was a clear sign of how times were advancing—even roller skates now incorporated advanced technology.

Meanwhile, he was still relying solely on his legs to escape.

“Maybe it’s time to consider leveraging high-tech tools in the future,” Wang Yun thought.

Standing up, he tested the skates, pushing off gently. But the moment he leaned back slightly, the six wheels retracted into the soles with a loud click, lowering him back onto the ground.

“What the hell? What’s this about?”

Wang Yun stared at the now wheel-less skates in shock, his eyes wide.

In the livestream, viewers burst into laughter.

The scene was too absurd. The seemingly omniscient Wang Yun was thoroughly perplexed by a pair of skates.

“Hahaha, our big bro is really outdated! These are the latest self-adjusting skates!”

“Even my seven-year-old knows that leaning back retracts the wheels, and leaning forward brings them back out!”

“Wow, I thought Wang Yun was younger than this. How is he so out of touch?”

“Come on, don’t laugh! I’ve never seen these skates before either!”

The chat was flooded with jokes and commentary.

Back in the shop, Wang Yun finally figured out the mechanism.

“High-tech, indeed. These skates are impressive. With these, who’d bother taking a bus or taxi?” he said, visibly impressed.

After that, Wang Yun did something unexpected. He scanned the shelves briefly, then grabbed two boxes of skates.

“These sizes should fit them,” he muttered, opening the boxes and stuffing the skates into plastic bags. He hung the bags around his neck, clearly planning to bring a pair for each of his teammates.

“Good brothers should always share, even when stealing,” Wang Yun joked to himself.

After ensuring everything was in order, Wang Yun notified the producer, leaving the payment for the program team to settle.

Then, he activated his enhanced hearing, standing still to listen.

If he was going to escape, he needed to find the weakest point in their formation.

“To the right, three people are heading this way from nine o’clock,” Wang Yun muttered to himself.

    “Alright, it’s you!”

With a low growl, he leaned forward. The six wheels on his skates shot out instantly, ready for action.
