Chapter 368: Old Fang Faints, Livestream Temporarily Shut Down!
by tinytree“What? A final burst of energy before death?” the executive producer shouted at the top of his lungs.
He couldn’t hold back anymore. His phone almost slipped from his hand in the broadcast studio.
“Uh… Producer, please don’t panic. This is just my theory, maybe Comrade Wang Yun is strong enough to pull through.” Li Long quickly tried to calm him down.
But even he had used the word maybe.
After Li Long finished speaking, the producer fell silent.
At the same time, the entire broadcast studio was dead silent. Every single staff member lifted their heads, staring at the director in shock.
His voice had been so loud that even though they were all wearing headsets, they had heard everything crystal clear.
For a long moment, nobody moved.
Then, the only female staff member in the room stood up. Her eyes were red, and her body was trembling slightly.
“Producer… w-what do you mean by final burst of energy? What are you saying?”
As soon as she spoke, the rest of the dozen staff members finally snapped out of their shock. One by one, they stood up, their faces filled with disbelief, staring at the stunned, speechless director.
This was a man who was always calm and collected, who never showed emotions in front of his team.
Yet now he looked completely panicked, at a total loss for what to do.
“No… no way. This isn’t happening. You’ve all seen it too. Brother Wang’s physique is insane. He’s always been hundreds of times stronger than a normal person. Skateboarding, parkour, skydiving, paragliding, every single one of those could’ve killed him, and yet he always came out unscathed. Over a thousand program inspectors spent a whole month trying to catch him, and not a single one succeeded. How could a man this godlike possibly… possibly be at death’s door?”
The producer’s face was pale, his voice trembling with emotion.
It was unclear if he was explaining to his staff or just trying to convince himself.
“Yeah! Wang Yun is a total monster. He’s even more terrifying than a genius,” the glasses-wearing staff member across from the producer said, nodded frantically in desperate agreement.
After finishing his sentence, he even forced a weak smile as he glanced around at his colleagues.
The glasses-wearing staff member was hoping for some reassurance, but instead everyone else’s faces were filled with sorrow.
They had seen everything.
Wang Yun rushing into the fire, Wang Yun getting injured, Wang Yun collapsing, and then, Wang Yun waking up again.
In such a short period of time, his body had pushed itself beyond its limits.
Collapsing so suddenly, then waking up so fast, and then acting completely normal afterward. There was only one possible explanation for all of this.
A final burst of energy before death.

“What?! What are you talking about?! Stop spouting nonsense!”
Meanwhile, inside Old Fang’s livestream studio, the atmosphere was tense.
A staff member, who had been in real-time communication with the broadcast studio, suddenly shouted after receiving the latest update.
His shout startled Old Fang, who had been awake all night.
Even Liu Qingqing, sitting beside him, was visibly startled.
She frowned, turning toward the staff member with confusion in her eyes.
They were all professionals. They never reacted like this unless something serious had happened.
“What now? What happened this time?”
Old Fang had already been through too much tonight. His nerves were stretched to the breaking point.
The staff member finally realized he had messed up, but it was too late. The grief and shock on his face couldn’t be hidden anymore.
“Just now, my colleague said the reason Wang Yun woke up so fast is because… because his body has reached its absolute limit, and all of his adrenaline has been released.”
“Released? Adrenaline?”
Liu Qingqing muttered in confusion, repeating the words.
But this short exchange between the two had been heard loud and clear by everyone watching the livestream.
The livestream chat exploded in an instant before Old Fang and Liu Qingqing could even process what was happening.
“What the hell are they saying? Adrenaline? Why does this sound so bad?!”
“I’m about to cry! Are they saying Big Bro only woke up because he’s having a final burst of energy before death?!”
“What?! No way! Big Bro’s fine! He’s literally standing and walking! What’s wrong with you people?!”
“He’s just a little exhausted! He’s not dead, and you’re already talking like he is?!”
The platform, which was already on the verge of crashing, completely collapsed again. All because of one sentence from the staff.
Old Fang had just pushed himself up from the table, ready to stand. But the moment he heard the staff member’s outburst—along with Liu Qingqing’s quiet murmurs echoing those same words—his legs gave out beneath him.
The next second, he fell back into his chair with a loud thud!
“Old Fang! Old Fang!” Liu Qingqing shouted in panic.
The staff members also freaked out, rushing forward.
Old Fang sat there, completely stunned. Then, just as he tried to say something, he lifted his hand halfway and suddenly his hand dropped, his eyes shut. He fainted on the spot.
Old Fang had collapsed!
And in that instant, the entire livestream studio descended into chaos.
Even though Old Fang was retired, his connections and influence were still massive.
In today’s society, he was a respected figure with a huge impact. Especially as someone who had contributed to the country, he was someone that needed to be protected and honored.
Yet now he had just passed out in the middle of a livestream.
And the worst part?
Over 40 million people were watching it live. Everyone had seen it happen.
“Producer! Old Fang has fainted. Requesting permission to shut down the livestream.”
But the producer was still stuck on one thought—Wang Yun’s final burst of energy. His eyes stayed locked on the screen, watching every step Wang Yun took.
Each time Wang Yun moved, his heart clenched tighter. And just as he was barely holding it together—
Another disaster hit.
