Chapter 455: Little Hua Tuo, the Center of Attention!
by tinytreeXiao Yanran glanced at Zhu Xiaoxiao’s eager expression, then turned toward Wang Yun. Her gaze held a silent question. After all, this was Wang Yun’s invitation.
“Ladies, if there’s anything that catches your eye, feel free to take it. Consider it a welcome gift from me,” Luo Fei offered again with a smile.
Wang Yun waved a hand, smiling. “No need, Brother Luo, you’re being far too generous.”
Then he reached out and gently tousled Xiao Yanran’s hair, his expression full of affection.
“Go on, take your time with Xiaoxiao. Whatever you like, just take it, don’t worry about the price.”
The moment he said that, Xiao Yanran’s cheeks flushed red again, and Zhu Xiaoxiao gleefully threw a thumbs-up his way, silently mouthing, “Male god!”
“Then, Brother Wang Yun, this way please,” the receptionist said, leading the two girls upstairs.
Meanwhile, Luo Fei escorted Wang Yun toward the second floor.
The first floor was the reception lounge, where guests mingled and chatted before dinner. The second floor housed the private dining rooms.
There were only four private rooms in total, and each one was fully booked every day. Every table cost over ten thousand yuan. Despite there being only four rooms, there were more than twenty service staff on hand.
It was VIP treatment among VIPs.
Xiao Yanran and Zhu Xiaoxiao followed the attendant up to the third floor.
A secure door stood between the second and third floors. Even the elevator required a keycard to reach the top level. Without one, or express permission, access was impossible.
The security and privacy were impeccable.
The moment they stepped out of the elevator, they were struck by the contrast. This floor was a world apart from the ones below.
Heaven and earth, night and day.
The two girls exchanged a wide-eyed glance, both clearly stunned.
The air no longer smelled of flowers, but was suffused with a rich, refined fragrance—high-end perfume that instantly evoked the atmosphere of an elite fashion show.
“Ms. Xiao, Ms. Zhu, welcome,” greeted a tall, elegant woman in uniform at the elevator entrance.
She wore black gloves and was immaculately styled. With her graceful figure and stunning features, she had the looks of a social media star, even just casually appearing online would have made her a trending topic.
“She knows our names? So professional!” Zhu Xiaoxiao whispered excitedly.
Xiao Yanran was surprised as well, but at the same time, somehow not.
Everything around Wang Yun seemed extraordinary, and yet with him, nothing ever felt out of place.
“Do you have any favorite brands?” the guide asked warmly. “If not, we can start from the first room and take a look around.”
She was clearly a professional. One glance told her exactly what kind of customers she was dealing with.
In her eyes, Xiao Yanran and Zhu Xiaoxiao were pure and unspoiled types, the kind who usually came in with someone else footing the bill.
And whoever that “someone” was—was very, very rich.
Which meant these were the customers most likely to indulge in a shopping spree.
“Let me give you a quick overview,” she continued with a gentle smile. “Our women’s lounge is divided into three sections. To your left, we have skincare and cosmetics. To your right, clothing, shoes, and accessories. And in the center room, that’s where we keep the handbags. We’ve got plenty of time tonight, so I suggest you take your time and enjoy each section. No rush at all.”
Her voice was sweet and soothing, the kind of tone that made you want to slow down and savor every second.
Neither Xiao Yanran nor Zhu Xiaoxiao had ever seen anything like this before, so they simply nodded obediently.
Like two wide-eyed rabbits, they followed the guide into the first room.
Meanwhile, Wang Yun arrived at the second floor.
The largest private room was at the far end. It could accommodate up to thirty people and even included a chess room and a tea salon.
It was extravagantly spacious.
“Everyone, take a break, I’ve brought someone you’ll want to meet.”
Luo Fei called out the moment they stepped inside.
Wang Yun glanced around. There weren’t too many guests, mostly men, though there were a few women present—all of them exuded wealth and refinement. The women appeared to be middle-aged and carried themselves with noble grace.
All the attendees were homeowners. Typically, men didn’t bring their wives to these gatherings—this wasn’t about socializing, it was about networking and business.
“President Luo, this must be the Wang Yun you’ve been raving about?”
“He’s even younger than I imagined, and not to mention handsome! You might have some competition in the looks department!”
“Hey Brother Wang Yun, we’ve met at the gym!”
“Who’s this pretty boy? If I didn’t know better, I’d think he was a celebrity!”
One by one, the homeowners gathered around, faces alight with curiosity and excitement.
Wang Yun recognized several of them; they were familiar faces from the gym.
Surrounded, he exchanged a few brief pleasantries with each.
No one acted overly shocked. They’d clearly been briefed on him ahead of time.
“Nice to meet you all. I’m Wang Yun. It’s my first time attending an owners’ gathering, please take care of me.”
He spoke with composure and humility, winning instant favor.
If you wanted to blend into a group like this, you first had to place yourself on equal footing.
Otherwise, it was impossible to truly be accepted.
“Brother Wang Yun’s here for the first time, so take it easy on him. Don’t go scaring off our little Hua Tuo1. Oh right, didn’t you mention earlier that you had a medical question you wanted to consult Brother Wang Yun about?”
Luo Fei turned to the man sitting closest to him.
