    “Excuse me, coming through!”

Wang Yun pushed through the crowd, weaving his way toward the corner of the distant building.

It took considerable effort to reach the spot.

When Xiao Gang finally got a good look at the man Wang Yun had pointed out, he was thoroughly confused.

    That’s it?

“He’s the ‘handsome’ guy you were talking about, Boss? Honestly, he’s not even as good-looking as Old Hu. Pointy chin, monkey face…” Xiao Gang muttered under his breath.

Wang Yun stroked his chin, pretending to consider it seriously.

“I didn’t mean he looks handsome. I meant his technique is handsome.”

“Huh? What technique?” Xiao Gang asked instinctively.

The livestream exploded with question marks. The entire screen was filled with viewers asking the same thing. They’d all heard Wang Yun say he was going to “start with the handsome one,” and everyone, including the male viewers, had gotten excited.

If Wang Yun called someone handsome, then damn, that guy must be something special.

But once they got close… what the hell?

    Just a regular guy.

His face was cratered with acne; he didn’t even qualify as average-looking.

“He just now eliminated a program inspector from another team,” Wang Yun said, eyes locked on the man.

The guy was short, plain-looking, with small eyes. But his furtive expression gave him away; he was clearly nervous.

One hand stayed stuffed in his pocket, as if he were hiding something important.

“What?! He eliminated his own teammate?” Xiao Gang blurted out.

Then quickly clapped a hand over his mouth. Even muffled, his eyes practically bulged out of their sockets.

Wang Yun nodded. “Not sure which team he’s from, but definitely not the same group.”

He glanced around, a knowing look in his eyes.

“Looks like this whole ‘angel’ appearance and ‘billionaire cash giveaway’ thing is all part of a setup. This season’s going to be more entertaining than ever.”

That comment etched itself into the minds of every single viewer in the livestream.

The rules didn’t prohibit program inspectors from eliminating each other. No one ever said the only targets were fugitives. Catching fugitives would earn you points, rewards, and prestige for yourself and your country.

    It was all about interests.

And fugitives eliminating program inspectors? That earned them cold, hard cash.

When interests are on the line, conflict is inevitable.

“So Boss, what you’re doing now is literally the oriole behind the mantis hunting the cicada,” Xiao Gang said, full of admiration.

He was in absolute awe, jaw dropped, face full of exaggerated reverence. No one had ever seen Xiao Gang this theatrical before.

Wang Yun quickly waved him off. “I’m just a humble embodiment of justice.”

The mantis, up ahead, had no idea that the oriole was already watching him closely.

The man pulled out a walkie-talkie and whispered something into it. Then he listened for a reply, and a smug grin crept across his face. His smile grew wider and wider. When he finally looked up again, he deliberately masked his expression. But the subtle joy tugging at the corners of his brows couldn’t be hidden.

Meanwhile, Wang Yun’s livestream chat had erupted.

“I’m tired of saying Big Brother is badass. What the hell was that?! This dude’s got no bottom line!”

“These new rules have really shaken things up. The pressure isn’t just on the fugitives, program inspectors are feeling it too!”

“Why do I feel like this season is way more forgiving to fugitives? Big Bro’s move was next-level slick!”

“If I were in his shoes, I probably wouldn’t even realize what was going on!”

“Respect. I don’t wanna start drama, I just wanna rid the world of evil!”

Viewers were hyped. Watching Wang Yun make his moves was thrilling enough. But now it was a mix of thrill, excitement, and sheer exhilaration. And just when everyone thought it couldn’t get more intense…

A moment on screen left them completely stunned.

    “Hey brother, got a light?”

Wang Yun walked up casually, as if they were old friends. He’d somehow gotten his hands on a box of cigarettes and even offered one to the man.

The guy, still riding his wave of excitement, accepted it without thinking. Then, naturally, he reached into his pocket for a lighter.

    “Here you go, brother.”

As he handed it over, he looked up and got a clear view of Wang Yun’s face.

    He paused.

Xiao Gang, standing behind Wang Yun, pretended to turn away while keeping one eye fixed on the scene.

When he saw the man freeze, he nearly reached for a rock in his pocket, ready to knock the guy out on the spot. But the man only stared at Wang Yun for a couple of seconds, then clicked the lighter.

“Pretty boy’s joining the fun too, huh?”

He wasn’t from Dragon Nation and had no particular standards for Dragon aesthetics. But even so, Wang Yun’s looks were enough to catch anyone’s attention.

“Yeah.” Wang Yun nodded, lowering his head to light the cigarette.

In doing so, he deliberately raised his arm, revealing the symbol on his wrist.

    “You—!”

    The surrounding noise was chaotic.

When the man caught a glimpse of the “S” symbol on Wang Yun’s wrist, his face instantly twisted in shock.
