At this moment, the seawater roared, and the ground shook violently.

Everyone panicked.

Fortunately, the police had already prepared an evacuation plan and escape routes. As the ground started trembling, they remained calm and gave orders.

This earthquake didn’t begin with slight tremors. It struck like a bombshell. The shaking was rapid and intense. However, despite the violent swaying, the surrounding buildings remained intact—the foundations were still solid.

“Don’t panic, everyone! Move away from the coastline. Yun City’s foundations are stable, and nothing catastrophic will happen! Follow the guidance and head to the open roads ahead. Stay away from mountains on either side of the road!” a police officer shouted.

Yun City was surrounded by mountains, but within the city, there were very few. Only a small number of roads were adjacent to mountains, while most of the mountainous areas had already been leveled to build houses.

Once they reached the parking lot, the crowd linked hands. They prayed for the earthquake to pass quickly.

Zhao Youcheng and the program inspectors were surrounded in the middle by several captains.

“How did Wang Yun know this earthquake would happen?! Even now, the meteorological bureau hasn’t detected anything!”

Alfa seemed almost possessed, his shock unparalleled as the ground shook. He wasn’t panicking, he was astonished.

“Damn it, that kid actually guessed right,” Hardy muttered incredulously.

“You still think he just guessed, Captain Hardy?” Werner said from the side, his tone carrying a trace of sarcasm.

Of course, the sarcasm was also directed at himself.

“Producer! The earthquake’s real!”

The video feed began to shake violently.

The executive producer, who had been smoking cigarette after cigarette on the balcony, froze when he heard the announcement through his earpiece. His hand trembled, and the burning cigarette fell onto his hand.

Ignoring the pain, his face lit up with shock and disbelief.

“It’s real?! Damn it! Big Brother actually nailed it!”

He couldn’t stop himself from shouting. Realizing what he’d said, he quickly clamped his hand over his mouth.

What was he even saying? If others heard him cheering for an earthquake, they’d think he’d lost his mind.

“Check the feed from Wang Yun’s side.”

The executive director dashed into the control room, where the staff had already switched the livestream feed.

As soon as everyone saw the screen, their faces tensed.

In the video, seawater was pouring in from all directions, and Wang Yun’s group of three struggled to maintain their balance.

“Big Brother, I can dispatch a helicopter for rescue! Hang on!” the executive producer shouted into the radio.

Only static replied.

“Big Brother, respond if you hear me!”

The producer grew frantic, but the radio remained silent. Wang Yun’s group was seen shouting to each other, but their words couldn’t be heard.

The producer slammed his hands on the table, his face full of worry.

Brother Hu crouched down, holding a large leaf he’d found somewhere. Using it as a makeshift scoop, he tried to bail out the water. But it was futile. The circular wall they’d built earlier using stones, mud, and layers of leaves had started leaking, and water was now pooling beneath their feet.
