Chapter 344: Switching Positions on a Cliff!
by tinytree“Don’t panic,” Wang Yun said.
He and Brother Hu were unaffected by the situation. In fact, the momentum had pressed them tightly against Xiao Gang.
“Brother Hu, slowly push Xiao Gang forward. As long as he gets past the gap in the rope, he’ll be fine,” Wang Yun said calmly.
“You better not push too hard, or I’ll fall!” Xiao Gang said, his voice trembling with fear.
“Shut up!”
Brother Hu snapped impatiently. Without further hesitation, he started using his body to push Xiao Gang forward.
But the torn fabric was tightly jammed in place—without lifting it up, it was nearly impossible to slide past.
After several attempts, Brother Hu was drenched in sweat and exhausted. At this point, he had already reached his limit. His hands, gripping tightly, had long gone numb.
“It’s not working, boss. I can’t get through,” Xiao Gang said anxiously.
Brother Hu was beginning to panic too. They were so close to the end. Why did something like this have to happen now?
“I’ll do it.”
At that moment, Wang Yun gritted his teeth. He was about to attempt something incredibly risky.
“Brother Hu, switch places with me,” Wang Yun said firmly.
Brother Hu shuddered at his words.
Switch places? At this height, without any safety measures? How was that even possible?
Wang Yun was well aware of what Brother Hu was thinking at that moment, but he remained calm.
With a low grunt, Wang Yun exerted strength in his arms and suddenly lifted his body upwards.
The rope immediately began to sway violently.
“Boss! Boss! What are you trying to do?!”
Xiao Gang, positioned at the front, couldn’t turn his head to look, but he could feel the rope shaking intensely. His body swayed along with it, making him extremely nervous as he clung tightly to the sides of his clothes.
“Alright, Brother Hu, I’m going to grab your jacket now. Move slowly and try to grab mine,” Wang Yun instructed.
At that moment, Brother Hu felt the weight on his hands lessen. He looked up and saw Wang Yun gripping the rope with both hands.
Meanwhile, his own jacket was draped over the rope, swaying slightly but not falling off.
“Boss… you want me to grab your clothes?” Brother Hu asked hesitantly.
Wang Yun nodded and moved forward, hooking his legs tightly around Brother Hu’s waist.
“Trust me. Let go and reach for my jacket. I’m here, I won’t let you fall.”
Hearing Wang Yun’s words, Brother Hu suddenly felt an immense pressure clamping down on his waist, as if a massive iron vise had locked him in place.
That leg strength was immense.
Brother Hu’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. An overwhelming sense of security surged through him.
“Alright!”
Without a shred of doubt in Wang Yun’s words, Brother Hu immediately let go of his own jacket. Wang Yun slightly rotated and Brother Hu reached out to grab Wang Yun’s instead.
Switch successful.
For about three seconds, Brother Hu was completely suspended in mid-air. During that time, his entire weight was supported solely by Wang Yun’s leg strength.
***
“Dear god! What kind of monster is this?! His leg strength is insane!”
“Holy shit! He actually clamped onto a whole person mid-air! That’s gotta be at least 150 pounds!”
“Yeah, and he’s not even shaking! He’s holding firm! I swear, it looks like Big Bro could just carry Xiao Gang across the entire cliff like this!”
“If I wasn’t watching this with my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe it no matter who told me!”
The livestream chat exploded the moment viewers saw this incredible scene.
This was beyond insane.
This wasn’t something a normal human being should be able to do. Even on flat ground, lifting a 20-30 pound object using only leg strength would make most people tremble. And that was with full-body effort—engaging the core, hips, and everything.
Yet here, Wang Yun was thousands of feet in the air, using just his legs to clamp onto a fully grown man.
And he was holding steady.
But what was even more unbelievable was how much Brother Hu trusted him.
None of them had any safety measures.
It was absolutely insane.
The entire livestream audience was in complete shock. The chat was going wild, with messages flooding in so fast that unless someone hit pause, it was impossible to read a single word.
***
“Boss, whatever you guys are doing, hurry up! If you don’t move soon, I really won’t be able to hold on any longer!”
Xiao Gang’s voice carried a trace of sobbing.
He was truly at his limit. His arms had completely reached their breaking point, trembling uncontrollably.
“Let’s switch places.”
As soon as Wang Yun finished speaking, he executed the same maneuver again.
Brother Hu was 20 to 30 pounds heavier than Xiao Gang. But even so, Wang Yun still locked him in place securely with his legs.
The moment Wang Yun clamped onto him, Xiao Gang’s hands instinctively let go.
In that instant, a chilling sensation surged up from his feet.
He thought he was done for—that he was about to fall to his death in the very next second. But to his shock, he remained perfectly stable in mid-air. It was as if some kind of mechanical device had secured his waist, allowing him to hover in the air for a moment.
“What are you staring for? Hurry up and grab the jacket above your head.”
Seeing Xiao Gang frozen in shock, Wang Yun felt like punching him twice out of frustration.
He zoned out for three whole seconds.
With Xiao Gang’s massive frame, any normal person would’ve lost their grip by now.
Xiao Gang suddenly snapped back to his senses, shivering before quickly grabbing Wang Yun’s jacket—which was actually Brother Hu’s clothes.
Switch successful.
At that moment, Wang Yun kicked off, grabbing onto Xiao Gang’s jacket.
Immediately after, he pulled himself upward with sheer force, dragging the clothes along with him, and successfully leaping past the gap.
