Wang Yun glanced at Big Mouth. His eyes shifted slightly, and an idea came to him.

A knock sounded at the door.

Wang Yun walked over and looked through the peephole. It turned out Colin had come back with food.

Wang Yun opened the door.

“Brother Wang Yun, I brought you something to eat.”

As soon as he said that, the waiter behind him pushed a serving cart into the room. There were two plates of pasta, one ten-inch pizza, and two glasses of juice.

At the sight of the food, Big Mouth got so excited he almost tried to jump off the bed. But then he suddenly remembered that he was still “poisoned” and was not supposed to be able to move. So he could only lie there, staring pitifully at the food.

Wang Yun had no choice. Once the waiter set everything down, he pushed the cart back out.

Wang Yun picked up one plate of pasta and gave the entire pizza to Big Mouth.

“Eat.”

Wang Yun went back to the table and started on his own dinner.

Meanwhile, Colin sat on the sofa to the side, silently watching the warm scene in front of him. He could not help thinking back to his former self.

When he had first started working for Baren, had he not also treated him with wholehearted loyalty, like an elder brother?

Just like the way Big Mouth treated Wang Yun.

But how had Baren treated him?

He had only ever wanted to use him, feeding him poisoned honeyed dates.

A bitter smile appeared at the corner of Colin’s mouth.

The viewers in Wang Yun’s livestream naturally saw Big Mouth acting cute and Colin’s dejection.

While the viewers in the livestream were still arguing noisily, Wang Yun had already finished dinner. He picked up a bottle of juice and took a sip.

Only then did he look up at the man sitting on the sofa beside him.

Colin was just sitting there quietly, head lowered, without saying a word, silently waiting for the two of them to finish eating.

Meanwhile, Big Mouth was still hard at work on the pizza.

“Colin, do you still have that contract you signed with you?” said Wang Yun, breaking the silence.

Colin nodded.

“I’ve been carrying it with me the whole time.”

“Then the part about setting you free after five fights… is that written into an agreement, or was it just said verbally?”

Colin’s expression froze. A trace of embarrassment crossed his face as he answered, “There’s no written agreement. He only said it verbally.”

Wang Yun looked at him deeply.

“Then aren’t you afraid he’s tricking you? When the time comes, even if you win the fight, what if he denies it? What could you do then?”

Colin stared blankly at Wang Yun. He had never even thought of that.

That was right. If Baren refused to admit it later, what could he possibly do?

His shoulders instantly slumped.

He looked lost.

“Brother Wang Yun, then… what do you think I should do?”

“They call you stupid and you still won’t admit it. All that tiny bit of brains you do have, you used it on scheming against my boss,” Big Mouth coldly cut in.

Colin’s face grew hot. He had schemed against Wang Yun, yes, but he had not forced him. Even if Wang Yun refused, he would not have done anything.

Faced with Big Mouth’s ridicule, Colin only lowered his head awkwardly.

Even though he had helped them once, he had still tried to take advantage of them. And yet Wang Yun was still thinking things through for him so earnestly.

Colin did not know how he was supposed to thank Wang Yun. He lifted his head and looked at Wang Yun with visible emotion.

Wang Yun saw the complicated look in Colin’s eyes.

There was regret in it, gratitude, and a trace of confusion. He did not understand why Wang Yun was willing to help him.

Wang Yun understood that look and simply said calmly, “Helping you is helping myself. Don’t overthink it.”

Colin nodded hard.

“Later, take me to meet your boss. Leave this matter to me.”

Colin looked at Wang Yun with a face full of gratitude. His heart was overflowing with thankfulness.

He was so emotional that he could not say a single word.
